Legend of the Plaguebird was my first full game project, the assignment for it was to create a simple 2D platformer with a unique mechanic.
for my mechanic I got inspired by the idea of one of "A Hat in Time"'s platforming tools, which allows objects in the worldspace to appear and disapear. I slightly changed that idea to only visually make the objects disapear, so you would have to use your lantern to see the objects.
the character for the game was a simple design i had already came up with before, and every asset in the game was made by me! (except for the music, which was created by my good friend blayne) I am proud of the fact i could make all of that art, but due to the fact that it is by no means my speciallty, the game's backgrounds look sub-par.
